Hello! My name is Lucas Jakobi. I am the founder of LP Music School. I also teach drums, bass and guitar! I have been teaching for over 11 years and have been playing professionally for 13 years. I love music and love nothing more than to share and explore it with others.

When I was a kid, I definitely had my fair share of music teachers. Some were great, and some were not so great. I always found that I would practice more often, and improve overall when I was learning something that I had an interest in. I knew when I started teaching, I wanted to expand on that concept. Music is meant to be celebrated, and fun, so that is exactly how music lessons should be.

Lessons with me will be exactly that: fun, while still focusing on important fundamentals like technique, theory, and style.
